Ayatollah Rafsanjani’s Funeral Ceremony in Tehran
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A funeral ceremony was held for former Iranian president and chairman of the country’s Expediency Council Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani on Tuesday.
Ayatollah Rafsanjani died at a hospital in northern Tehran on Sunday at the age of 82 due to a heart condition. The body of the venerated cleric was laid to rest at the mausoleum of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini on Tuesday.
