Quran Competition Planned for Disabled Children of Persian Gulf Arab States

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 23rd edition of a regional Quran competition for disabled children will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in December.

 

According to 5br24.net website, disabled kids from the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf region will take part in the contest.

The organizing committee of the competition, known as King Salman Award, has recently held a meeting for discussing the preparations for the event.

Avaz bin Abdullah Ghamedi, secretary general of a society for helping disabled children in Saudi Arabia has urged educational and Quran teaching centers in the country and other Arab states of the Persian Gulf to participate in the contest.

It is slated to be held in Riyadh on December 2-4.

The deadline for application is November 1, according to the organizing committee.
