Hindu Devotee of Ahl-ul-Bayt Opens ‘Ansaran-e Hussein (AS)’ Association in India

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A non-Muslim has established a charity association named “Ansaran-e Hussein (AS)” (supporters of Imam Hussein (AS)) in Hyderabad, India.

 

Ram Mohan is a contractor in Hyderabad who has organized a charity medical camp along with a number of Hindu devotees of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) in the city.

He tries to introduce teh message of Imam Hussein (AS) and the event of Ashura to Hindus of the region.

Mohan also has special respect for Mir Momin Astarabadi, and distributes food among the poor every Thursday at the Daira Mir Momin which is a Muslim cemetery located in the Old City of Hyderabad.

The cemetery was established during the Qutb Shahi period in the 16th century around the grave of Mir Momin Astarabadi.

Mir Momin was the peshwa of the Golconda Sultanate and the planner of Hyderabad. It is said that he ordered camel-loads of soil to be brought from Karbala and sprinkled across the graveyard.
