Speaking to IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Gholam Reza Heidari-Abhari underlined the educational aspects of Quran stories for children and teenagers and said when these stories are presented in artistic forms they can transform the worldview of children and teenagers.
He said Quranic stories can have the same effect as the verses of the Holy Quran because the Holy book uses these stories to educate people.
Hojat-ol-Islam Heidari-Abhari cited some examples about how the Quran uses stories to clarify its teachings. “For instance, the Quran says that the good end belongs to the Mutaqqin (God-fearing). This concepts has been stressed in the Quran’s stories such as the story of Prophet Noah (AS) where the guided ones sit in the Arc and are saved while those who went astray are drowned.”
He further said that children and teenagers are naturally inclined to goodness and conveying Quranic messages to them through stories is effective.
Hojat-ol-Islam Heidari-Abhari has written several books featuring religious and Quranic stories including “God and His Stories”, “40 Hadiths and Tales”, “Tell Me About the Quran” and “Prophet (PBUH) and His Stories”.
