International Quran Foundation Planned

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Cultural deputy of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) said there are plans for establishing an international Quran foundation.

Seyed Mohammad Hossein Hashemi made the remark on the sidelines of a ceremony in which ICRO and the Dar-ol-Quran Organization signed an agreement for Quranic cooperation.
He said the foundation is planned to be set up in the near future, mizanonline reported.
Hashemi further noted that ICRO organizes various Quranic activities such as exhibitions, festivals, and Quranic weeks in various countries.
He said the Quran foundation will be established in ICRO’s cultural deputy to coordinate the organization’s Quranic activities.
