Quran Channel Launched by Afghanistan’s Kawthar TV

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Kawthar TV in Afghanistan launched a Quran channel aiming to introduce the Quranic teachings to the society.

According to Kabul.icro.ir, the channel started its activities with two hours of Quranic programs aired from 7 to 9 p.m. local time.

Recitations by internationally known Qaris, Quran competitions, Quranic stories, family in Quran, introduction of Quranic centers and figures, etc. are among the programs of the channel.

Dissemination of Quranic culture, introduction of Quranic concepts and teachings to Afghan people and encouraging the people to make use of the teachings in their individual and social life are the main objectives of the channel.
