Saudi Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of the board of directors of the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), inspected the Hajj and Two Holy Mosques Encyclopedia project on Wednesday.
He was accompanied by Sheikh Abdullah bin Sulaiman Al-Manea, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars and an adviser to the Royal Court.
The project, supervised by Darah, serves as an encyclopedia on Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques throughout different historical periods.

During the inspection, Prince Faisal and Al-Manea received a detailed explanation of the project’s objectives. The initiative aims to meticulously track and document the history of Hajj and the Two Holy Mosques from the pre-Islamic era to the present day, creating a comprehensive and unified encyclopedic source.
Additionally, the project highlights the advancements made over the ages in providing services for Hajj and pilgrims.
